Born in Buffalo, New York, Chelsea Noble began her career with appearances in Full House, Who's the Boss? and Days of Our Lives before landing the role of Kate MacDonald in Growing Pains. She married her Growing Pains co-star Kirk Cameron in 1991 and together they founded The Firefly Foundation.
