Back at Chuck's house, Mari tells her foster father that she thinks her necklace is magic. She says that before returning to Detroit, she spent some time in Central City and saw things there. Mari then touches the Totem, channels the strength of an elephant, and easily lifts the kitchen table above her head with one hand.
Later, Mari goes out on the roof and makes sure Chuck is watching her. She then channels the climbing ability of a spider and walks up a wall. When she reaches the top, Mari channels the flight power of an eagle but hesitates at the edge.
At S.T.A.R. Labs in Central City, Cisco tells Flash that he modified Felicity's facial recognition software and has picked up picked up metahuman activity in Detroit. He dubs Mari "Vixen" and Flash says that he's going to take backup with him before speeding off.
Back in the house, Chuck takes a drink and Mari tells him that the necklace could change her life. She hopes that it can lead her to answers about who she is and what happened to her parents. The doorbell rings and Chuck answers the door: it's Arrow and Flash. When Mari sees them, she channels the power of a panther and runs. Flash speeds after her and Arrow follows.
