The first 2 seasons featured some grippingly harrowing real life stories of survival and kicked my ass black and blue as far as storytelling and reenactment are concerned. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it and it turned out to be an exhilarating ride. I guess they recently decided to change the format when they realized that they were running on fumes, materialwise.
