More than 460 collegiate teams battled it out in Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm in 2015 for the inaugural Heroes of the Dorm tournament title. It all came down to a Pac-12 showdown between the Arizona State Sun Devils and the California Golden Bears in the finals, with the Bears claiming victory to take home as much as $375,000 in scholarship money. The premier Heroes of the Dorm collegiate tournament is back on ESPN2 in 2016, with more than $500,000 in tuition and other prizes on the line. "Last year's Heroes of the Dorm was an amazing experience for the students playing and everyone watching, and we're excited to again offer college athletes an epic opportunity to team up and compete for scholarships in 2016," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment. "It's inspiring to see players from last year's championship team, the UC Berkeley Golden Bears, now thriving in pro esports careers -- we look forward to seeing how this year's competitors shape the future of competitive gaming."
