Star Trek Lower Decks to End with Season Five
The news comes as season four is in production
"Star Trek: Lower Decks" Renewed for Season 5 Ahead of Season 4 Premiere
Paramount+ announced that "Star Trek: Lower Decks" has been renewed for a 10-episode fifth season. Season 4 of the original animated comedy series will premiere in late summer on Paramount+ in the U.S., with the exact date to be announced. International premiere dates will be also announced at a later date.
CBS All Access Announces New Animated Comedy, Star Trek: Lower Decks
CBS All Access today announced a two-season order for Star Trek: Lower Decks, a new half-hour animated comedy series developed by Emmy Award winner Mike McMahan (Rick and Morty).
The series will focus on the support crew serving on one of Starfleet’s least important ships and will be produced by CBS Eye Animation Productions, CBS Television Studios’ new animation arm; Secret Hideout; and Roddenberry Entertainment.
