It's all about family and friends in this first episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Meet Caroline, Danielle, Dina, Jacqueline and Teresa – five of the most affluent and drama-filled women in the Garden State. While Caroline's focused on getting her sons ready for the real world (one is going to law school and the other is trying to start his own strip club), Teresa attends her daughter's dance recital and decides her eight-year-old is destined for stardom. Danielle gets back in the dating game with a man she met online and sisters-in-laws, Dina and Jacqueline get together for girls' night out in Manhattan.

Not only are the ladies bringing out the drama, but the kids are piling it on too. Jacqueline is upset over her daughter's declining grades, while Teresa and her daughter Gia receive some exciting news about an upcoming audition, and Caroline's daughter decides she is finally ready for beauty school. Meanwhile, Danielle attempts to befriend Dina, but that only adds to their already existing tension.

For the New Jersey housewives, being fabulous is all about being a great mom and a great friend, but when Danielle invites all the ladies over for a Mom's Night Out Spa Party - the party goes from fabulous to frightening. The claws come out and rumors begin to swirl about Danielle, and Jacqueline's family puts pressure on her to end the friendship.

Teresa is busy juggling her daughter's acting career while trying to move her family into their dream home. While the ladies decide to get together to discuss Danielle's shady past, Jacqueline takes it upon herself to confront Danielle about the rumors and her possible connections south of the Border. Drama seems to follow Danielle as she and Teresa's husband are involved in a nasty confrontation.

Luck be a lady! Dina, Caroline and Teresa head to Atlantic City for a girls' weekend of gambling, shopping and spa treatments. After bikini shopping and an argument with her husband about "the bigger the better," Teresa struggles with the idea of getting plastic surgery. The relationship drama continues as Danielle breaks up with her boyfriend and turns to her children for support. Meanwhile, Jacqueline invites Danielle out for a friendly birthday lunch and the claws come out erupting in a major catfight.

The tension between the ladies has been mounting all season and in the season finale, it's all out on the table. All five housewives attend Teresa's end of the year party and the night turns ugly as shocking secrets come out and alliances are revealed.

In the beginning, Teresa and Danielle are sitting together on one couch, while the Laurita/Manzo sisters are on the other couch. It is announced that Teresa and Jacqueline are pregnant; Jacqueline is due the following week AND Teresa is due in September 2009. The episode ended in a cliffhanger, with Caroline accusing Danielle of having planned something ominous for Dina.

The housewives were in an uproar about the book, and Caroline confronted Danielle about something she had planned to harm Dina. Exactly what Danielle had allegedly planned was not revealed, and Danielle refused to admit she knows anything about it.

Everyone's favorite Jersey Girls are back for a brand new season of even bigger drama. The table flip was just the beginning, and in the premiere episode, the girls pick up right where they left off. The family is as thick as thieves, and Danielle is still trying to make her way into their inner circle. The birth of Jacqueline's baby boy brings the Manzo sisters even closer together, and when Caroline throws her annual Sherriff's Fundraiser and doesn't invite Danielle, Danielle makes sure that everyone knows she is still being shut out.

While family is the most important thing to these Jersey housewives, it's also the source of lots of drama. Jacqueline and her daughter Ashley continue to butt heads over Ashley's bad girl behavior. When Caroline's daughter's boyfriend causes a riff in the Manzo clan, Caroline does her best to stay away and let her babies work it out themselves. Meanwhile, Teresa and Danielle's daughters are both invited to model in the upcoming NYC Fashion Week, and in an effort to move forward and focus on the positive, Danielle extends an olive branch to her former friends to celebrate Christine's success.

The Jersey drama continues when Danielle accuses Jacqueline of not being her own woman. Dina is tired of all the negativity, so she makes a date with a Zen Expert to purge Danielle from her life. Meanwhile, a very pregnant Teresa and a very determined Danielle see their daughters modeling in Fashion Week. Both Moms could not be more proud, but when mishaps unfold on the runway, the futures of their daughters' fashion careers are both put into question.

The big day has finally arrived for Teresa and Joe as they welcome their fourth bambino into the world. Meanwhile, Chris Manzo scores big when he gets an inside look into his dream business, and Jacqueline gets an inside look into her husband's secret safe. As the Brownstone prepares for a big night, Danielle gets an invitation she can't refuse, but makes sure to get "back-up" from an old friend before she RSVPs.

Baby Audriana is home from the hospital and although Teresa and Joe couldn't be happier with their fourth princess, Teresa pleads with Joe to get "snipped." After all – "happy wife, happy life." Meanwhile, Jacqueline and Ashley are still struggling to get along, but in true Manzo form, Caroline's kids reach out and try to bridge the gap. After a heartfelt invitation to a charity event at the Brownstone, Danielle calls in some favors as she prepares to walk into the lion's den one more time. But the road of good intentions gets bumpy for Danielle when she and her protective entourage perceive that the Brownstone has set up a "big surprise".

After the outburst at the Brownstone, another battle breaks out, but this time via Facebook, when Danielle accuses Jacqueline's teenage daughter of threatening her life. Wanting to put an end to the drama, Jacqueline and Teresa confront Ashley about the alleged attacks. Surrounded by all of this negative energy, Dina decides to follow her energist's advice and sets up a face-to-face meeting with Danielle to officially cut her out of her life. Despite Caroline's advice, Dina meets with Danielle one-on-one but the negative energies ignite into yet another confrontation.

Danielle, feeling empowered after standing up to the Manzo clan, decides it time to live again. With the help of her "loyal friends" (and a few moves from her professional past), Danielle brings sexy back. Meanwhile, Jacqueline hosts a poker night with the guys and finds out even more scandalous details from Danielle's ex, Steve. Dina can't deal with the constant fighting, and makes a big decision that changes everything.

Teresa rolls out the red carpet for her housewarming party as Danielle pursues reconstructive plastic surgery to fix a huge mistake. Caroline's daughter, Lauren, hits her stride as a make-up artist, while golden boy Albie gets hit with a big rejection and has a hard time bouncing back. Jacqueline and Teresa's post-baby-weight shopping trip turns controversial when Teresa questions a new friend's loyalty.

Teresa and Jacqueline get an invitation they just can't refuse but worlds collide and tempers flare as they are face to face with Danielle for the first time.

Teresa and Joe celebrate their 10 year anniversary in true Giudice style. Trying to stay out of the drama, juicy Joe has his own issues to deal with when his new business gets some help from some very hands-on customers and his little princesses learn a tough lesson in the process. Meanwhile, Ashley continues her mission to prove Danielle is not the changed person she claims to be. And while Danielle is trying to focus on the positive by planning her daughter Christine's sweet 16, she gets sidetracked when a friend, who knows a thing or two about fighting, decides to give her some self-defense lessons.

Teresa and Joe spare no expense for baby Audriana's fabulicious christening, but not long after the guests have gone and the ice sculptures start to melt - Joe and Teresa find themselves in some serious trouble. Danielle continues her journey to seek "love and light" by finally making peace with her ex - and while doing so, she makes some progress on a "book" of her own. In an effort to escape the unrelenting drama, Caroline, Teresa, and Jacqueline book a trip to the Motherland.

A very public DUI has all the tongues in town wagging. In an effort to escape all the drama, Teresa, Caroline, Jacqueline and their families embark on a cruise to Italy and a whirlwind tour through the homeland. Unfortunately their efforts to escape the insanity backfire, as they find out that traveling with three generations of families is anything but relaxing.

The showdown that everyone was waiting for finally takes place - Caroline and Danielle face off, but this time there are no books, no family, no distractions and nowhere to run.

Tricks, treats, and tension rule the day when Halloween plays backdrop to the fallout from Melissa's christening gone bad. Jacqueline attempts to reason with Teresa when the infamous Posche fashion show makes its way to The Brownstone. The catwalk becomes the stage for drama when Kathy speaks her mind and gets a dose of Caroline's house rules.

Jacqueline is forced to confront the past when her damaged relationship with Ashley opens up old wounds. Caroline's boys finally leave the nest, but a surprise roommate and shocking announcement from Lauren set the stage for the drama to come. Teresa takes the first steps toward reconciliation with Melissa and her brother, Joe, while Kathy attempts to convince Caroline that she's not the troublemaker in the group.

It is turkey time in New Jersey, and resentment and regret are on the menu. The Housewives divide as Teresa hosts a "Friendsgiving" for Jacqueline and Caroline's families and the Gorgas have their own feast with the Wakiles. Spending the holiday apart leaves Melissa and Kathy wondering how they can bring the family back together.

Melissa's life hits a high note as she lives out her dream of being a mother and pop star. Caroline attempts to take her motherly advice to the air waves, while Jacqueline attempts to tune out Ashley's latest ploy to get a car. After Teresa and Melissa attempt to bury the bedazzled hatchet, the Giuduces, Lauritas, and Manzos retreat to the Catskills for some guns and group prayer. Back in Jersey,  Kathy kicks her cooking up a notch and goes restaurant shopping, while Melissa gears up for a holiday dance recital that sets the stage for family reunion, sans Teresa. 

The holidays in New Jersey are off to a less than peaceful start when tensions brew between Caroline's children and Kathy and Melissa find out if they have what it takes to be more than Housewives. Jacqueline's holiday party sets the stage for new friendships between Melissa and the other ladies. Teresa and Joe try to keep the flame alive behind closed doors, while their financial woes play out in public.

Santa Claus is coming to New Jersey, but there's no silent night when Melissa's holiday party whips everyone's tinsel into a tizzy. Kathy hopes to play nice with Teresa, but when the naughty Kim G. attempts to stir the punch, the Manzo clan circles their sleighs.

The Manzos have had it up to their tinsel with Kim G. when Chris Manzo finds himself caught between his family and loyalty to his oldest friend. Teresa and Kathy deck their halls in preparation for their dueling Christmas parties. Melissa and her husband make a decision that leaves Teresa with a blue Christmas.

Visions of sugar plums dance in the Housewives' heads on Christmas morning. Santa brings all the women something nice, but it's Caroline who gets something long overdue. Melissa deems herself the luckiest girl in Jersey, while Teresa's Christmas ends on a sour note.

It's a New Year and new beginnings for the Housewives! Teresa stirs UP trouble with her new cookbooks, while Melissa lives out her dream from the comfort of home. Caroline's daughter Lauren pledges to lose weight in the new year, while Jacqueline wonders if Ashley is just lost. The annual Brownstone New Year's Eve party sets the stage for backstabbing comments and bold resolutions as the clock ticks toward midnight.

When Teresa and Melissa get their girls together for a play date, it proves that adults don't always play as nice as the kids. Kathy and Rich decide that nature has blessed their daughter, but who's going to nurture her about "what boys want?" Meanwhile, Ashley gets a surprise visit from her father... Only to realize both parents have more than a family reunion in mind.

Jacqueline's relationship with Ashley hangs in the balance when their war of words brings her to a heartbreaking decision. Teresa's financial problems grow when a visit with her lawyer reveals a giant new debt. In the end, it's not just Teresa's new alcoholic beverage that's fizzing, when she invites her longtime ally and sister of the enemy, Dina, to her Fabellini release party.

Fashion fever grips Jersey as it's time for Kim D's annual Posche Fashion Show. Before the models, a ghost from Melissa's past comes down the runway and Teresa makes a shocking discovery that sets the stage for drama to come.
