All three characters of Jonathan Rhys Meyers should be merged into one.

He doesn't play three different characters. It's the same person.

He is "Dracula", but in front of regular people he poses as a rich inventor "Alexander Grayson". And centuries ago, before he was cursed with the immortality he was known as "Vlad Tepes".

So unlike Jessica De Gouw who plays two different characters, Ilona (centuries dead Dracula's wife) and Mina Murray (a lookalike of Dracula's long-lost wife and her reincarnation), Jonathan's all three roles are the same person and same character, not three separate ones.

Before I go into season 1 of the Alfred Hitchcock Hour to attempt to re-number the episodes according to original airdate, I just wanted to make sure that the order they are currently in is a mistake, not a deliberate choice on your part.  http://www.tvmaze.com/seasons/11597/the-alfred-hitchcock-hour-season-1

we changed it back because the official press release says those are specials and the press release overrules the official site.

Are you sure about that?  The episode titles aren't the same.  It looks like it's possible that two of the episodes are the same but retitled, but the American series on PBS has an episode about Marie Antoinette, and the British show has one about the Reformation.

Rick

Yeah I'm pretty certain, this article names the producers etc:

https://realscreen.com/2020/05/15/pbs-lucy-worsley-to-investigate-royal-myths-and-secrets-this-june/

Which matches the producers for the BBC version of the show:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000fzsh

Lucy Worsley’s Royal Myths & Secrets is produced by the BBC, with funding for the PBS presentation provided by public television viewers.

Here it is also heavily suggested that PBS has brought the show in from the BBC.

Just because the producers are the same doesn't mean that it's the same show.  I'll grant you that the first two episodes of the American series are probably the same as the last two episodes of the British series.  But the American Marie Antoinette episode and the British Reformation episode are clearly different.  So what's the harm in leaving both series up on the site?
