I wish the system could be amended to group these mini-series and the associated after shows under the umbrella of the main show ... not as specials since they aren't really specials ... as much as I love Josh, this show is a ginormous PitA with all the splitting off of mini-series. :/
The "new" eps lately starting from 'Lost Tomb of the Mummy' appear to be edited re-airings or untouched re-airings.
I'm struggling to pinpoint them all at the minute, anybody familiar with the show can you help out.
'Chasing the Snake Kings' for example had an identical special that has no entry here but I feel it aired under a different name before that.

I watched the latest "Chasing the Snake Kings" and it is mostly a re-run, but the last 10 minutes of it is new.
But there is a entire episode missing from the lineup, Season 7 Episode 10 Lost Predator of the Deep.

I can confirm Cracking the Secret is brand new. I thought that would be one of those extra new bits slapped on the end of the old ep but no.
It's difficult to traverse this mess. I dislike being essentially conned into a repackaged episode though.

Have you looked through the episode list that is on Discovery for this show lately? A bunch of episodes are not even listed in seasons 2, 3 and 4. It's a conspiracy. :D

stay or be added as specials to the main show? There are a few that are listed as specials and this after show isn't being maintained.

They should be removed from specials and added to the After Show. I will take care of this :)

Discovery list they list 2 episodes (with different names / airdates to what we have listed) as Season 5 episodes 1 & 2, but if you click on the links it displays them as Season 7 episodes 101 & 102.
Travel Channel list a different 2 episodes (press release).
Discovery Press release seems to corroborate the ones we have listed here though.

yeh, that is what I found too, not sure what to make of it :(
