I would not be at all sad to see Chibnall go.
It's the second show I'm watching that was ruined by the new showrunner this year. Gimple did to Fear The Walking Dead pretty much the same Chibnall did to DW.
Chibnall was great as a writer in previous seasons, and Torchwood... but he just hasn't done well for Doctor Who. I think Jodie would have been better with another showrunner, especially if they could give her a real purpose and not be so aimless. Maybe tone down her hyperness.
