Not sure if you watched Moon Girl or not but Backstory Man and Beyonder are the same character, this is revealed early on in the series,. As staff we decided that Backstory Man would be added as an AKA since it was already announced that Laurence was playing the Beyonder.

Hi Tom! You caught me in between adding Backstory Man and asking for deletion of the appearance of Beyonder. 🙂
Thanks for letting me know about the staff decision. But I don't think I particularly agree with that in this case. The creators explicitly credited Fishburne's character as Backstory Man instead of Beyonder for those first few episodes. If nothing else it is a pretty big spoiler, right there on the episode's main page.
It was agreed since it was already announced that's who he is playing - the Beyonder, under data policies we have
A Character should be named the way it was credited, considering the valid sources mentioned above. However, there should always only be one entry for each unique character. If the same Character appears on a show multiple times with different credited names, only one Character entry should be created and an AKA (alias) with the secondary name can be added. If a Character is known under different names, the names can be enumerated and separated with a "/", e.g. "Barry Allen / The Flash".

This is why we reached this decision - press releases before the show aired announced him playing the Beyonder.
