The Mind of Herbert Clunkerdunk - Episode Guide

In the first episode, Herbert's best friend Jonny performs a remarkable impression of his pet dog.

Herbert is given the opportunity of a lifetime when he is asked to record an audition tape for a role in a musical. He decides that the performance most likely to win him the role is a rendition of a 1980s computer struggling to load.

Herbert gets an important job recording a voiceover, but Bobby is less than impressed by the discovery that he has spent all of their savings on glow-in-the-dark paint. The couple is also called in for an urgent parent-teacher meeting at their son's school, which leads Herbert to reminisce about some unpleasant childhood memories.

Herbert poses for some flashy new headshots to go in his portfolio, in the hope than one of them will land him an acting job, and he can begin paying for all the things he has been buying on the internet - and hopefully leave enough to pay the council tax bill. However, a bicycle ride and an overlong bath have unforeseen consequences.

Herbert's got an audition that could redefine him, but first he and his wife Bobby Kindle have to get ready for his daughter Woman Child's birthday party.

Herbert has grown a large belly due to flapjack intake and is worried it will ruin a video game audition.

Bobby's friend from uni, Denim Jean, comes to visit. She loves denim and hates Herbert. To make matters worse, Herbert can't think of a single idea for a new comedy night.

Herbert's trying to do his tax return and make a music video for a posh goth, but he keeps getting distracted when his stationery turns sensual.

Jonny Wallop is stalked by a creature of the night. Meanwhile, it's Herbert's anniversary, so he is determined to get Bobby the perfect present. And he's got his dream audition to act in the theatre. But his angry tooth starts rapping and has to be destroyed.
