The 4400 - Episode Guide

Peter Coyote stars as an agent who investigates the simultaneous return of 4400 people who went missing over several decades. In the opener, none of those returned have any memory of what happened and none have aged.

Tom and Diana investigate a supermarket employee who returned from his 18-month odyssey with enhanced strength and reflexes and is using his powers to combat crime in his neighborhood. Elsewhere, the pregnant Lily believes her baby can communicate with her; and Diana, concerned about 8-year-old clairvoyant Maia, invites the girl to live with her.

The public begins to turn on the 4400.

Firebombings threaten the 4400 when their names and addresses are made public.

Tom's son Kyle is taken into custody by Lyttel, and Diana offers to help bust him out. Elsewhere, Danny tries to win back Nikki.

Jordan cashes in on his abduction by opening a 4400 center; and Tom is restored to duty by the NTAC's skeptical new chief . Meanwhile, Diana adopts Maia; and Richard, Lily and their baby hide from Jordan and the NTAC in a remote cabin.

Lily and the baby are hunted by a shotgun-toting preacher; Tom and Diana try to isolate the cause of the strange behavior at the hospital; Diana discovers Maia's diary; and Shawn contacts Kyle.

A baseball player unsettled by his ability to read the thoughts of others turns to NTAC for help and is instead used to spy on Jordan Collier. Meanwhile, Diana's younger sister visits; and Richard and Lily's life on the lam is complicated by their daughter's growing powers.

A 4400 with the ability to induce rapid weight loss attracts the attention of Tom and Diana; Richard, Lily and their child find refuge in the company of a fellow 4400; a pop star endorses Jordan's cause; and Kyle is caught up in the frenzy when a frat party gets out of control.

A schoolteacher terrifies parents with her supernatural ability to inspire artistic students; Richard, Lily and their child are cornered by the police; Jordan warns Shawn not to overuse his healing gift; and Kyle experiences another blackout.

The hunt is on for a shadowy killer after Maia has a vision of Jordan Collier's impending demise; Tom's personal life is disrupted by Kyle's frightening blackouts; Lily's reunion with her daughter Heidi irritates little Isabelle; Shawn offers sanctuary to a street urchin; and NTAC demands that Diana hand over Maia's diary.

Tom is startled when he awakens in an alternate world in which he's married to a new wife and Kyle is a well-adjusted medical student. Most jolting of all is his discovery that the 4400 don't exist there.

Tom and Diana pursue a 4400 who released a plague that eradicated a town's entire population and has powers that threaten to wipe out humanity. Also: a lobbyist from Washington, D.C., joins the 4400 Center to bring some political muscle to the movement.

When atrocities are linked to a 4400 with the ability to heal damaged chromosomes in utero, NTAC finds itself in a troubling international political cross fire. Elsewhere, Richard reunites with aging Korean War comrades; Diana accuses April of abusing Maia's power; and Shawn attempts to mend fences with his family.

Tom is torn between duty and family when he discovers the identity of Jordan Collier's assassin; and Liv stirs up tensions between Danny and Shawn at the 4400 center.

A 4400 terrorist marks the dead Jordan Collier's birthday by planting a device within NTAC that causes all the males to turn savage, forcing a lockdown of the facility. Meanwhile, Lily suspects the 4400 Center has devious plans for Isabelle; Shawn adjusts to being a media figure; and Kyle kindles a romance.

In Nina's absence, Dennis Ryland oversees Tom and Diana's investigation of a deadly epidemic affecting the 4400. Meanwhile, Isabelle is examined without Lily's consent; Alana begins confusing reality with the fantasy she shared with Tom; and an ailing Shawn abdicates control of the 4400 Center.

Tom and Diana discover that the source of the disease that threatens the lives of the 4400 is linked to a conspiracy to inhibit their burgeoning abilities. Meanwhile, Lily experiences harrowing hallucinations; Richard organizes resistance to the quarantine; and Kyle decides to own up to the Collier shooting.

Tom and Diana try to foil a kidnapper who's going after 4400 children. Meanwhile, Shawn's past comes back to haunt him.

Tom and Diana continue their search for a mysterious kidnapper who is targeting 4400 children, while Shawn's relationship with Isabelle causes concern at the Center.

When Shawn is attacked by the Nova Group, a shaken Isabelle decides to seek revenge. Meanwhile, a youthful 4400 offers Alana some information about a tragic incident from her past.

Tom and Diana are forced to cooperate with Dennis Ryland in order to find Gary Navarro of the Nova Group, and they soon discover that someone at the 4400 Center may be helping Gary hide out. Meanwhile, Shawn and Isabelle's relationship grows complicated.

Tom and Diana are drugged with a hallucinogen, created by a 4400, that causes them to confront significant people from their pasts.

Kevin runs for his life when he becomes a marked man because of his promicin research; and as Tom and Diana search for him, they discover the depths of his devotion to his work. Also, Shawn meets his idol at the 4400 Center.

Tom and Diana probe a series of gruesome murders. Meanwhile, Shawn receives a gift from a 4400 that lets him see his future.

Tom hopes to clear his son Kyle of murder charges by looking for Jordan Collier, who might still be alive. Meanwhile, Diana receives a surprise visit from her sister April and her new fiancé.

Tom and Diana suspect Jordan's involvement in the breakout of Nova members from NTAC custody. Meanwhile, April's engagement is complicated by a prediction from Maia.

Tom and Diana continue their pursuit of Jordan Collier, whose plan for mankind may have dire consequences. Meanwhile, Dennis Ryland heads back to NTAC.

The NTAC deals with a new director and a high-school student who developed a special ability after taking promicin. Meanwhile, Tom visits Isabelle in prison and Diana searches for her sister, who took promicin.

Tom and Diana look for a person who makes phobias all too real. Meanwhile, Kyle gets another lead from Cassie, this time to a book that contains a prophecy about Collier.

An elderly woman develops the ability to astral project unseen by others, but she is stuck in limbo when her body is murdered, and she must find a way to contact Tom and Diana to help catch her killer. Elsewhere, Shawn decides to start healing people again despite threats.

Diana finds her sister, whose life is in danger due to promicin. Elsewhere, Shawn considers a run at public office.

Assassins target Jordan Collier after his movement gains momentum. Meanwhile, Shawn encounters trouble in his run for public office.

A lockdown at NTAC traps everyone, including Collier and his group, forcing an unlikely alliance.

Richard kidnaps Isabelle from Promise City in hopes of starting over. Meanwhile, Shawn is asked to intervene after Tess takes over a diner.

Tom and Diana look for Richard, but Tom is distracted by his dreams about the future. Meanwhile, Collier is threatened by Shawn's test that could determine who would die from a Promicin shot.

A computer virus attacks a large software company owned by a suspected member of the Marked. Elsewhere, Maia visits Promise City and receives an unexpected birthday gift.

Meghan and Diana learn how to remove the entity from Tom, but the procedure is dangerous. Meanwhile, Shawn finds help in his attempt to rescue Kevin from Promise City; and Jordan is betrayed by someone close.

Seattle is in chaos and NTAC asking Promise City for help. Meanwhile, Kyle's life is in danger and Jordan attempts to escape from the Marked.
