While The CW followed the example of the other networks in running mostly repeats and specials last week, they did have three scripted episodes as well, the exception that proves the rule about what to air during the Olympics. Black Lightning led the network last week with only a slight dip off its normal numbers. Legends of Tomorrow started the back half of its season about where it ended in December. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend wrapped its season at the bottom of the grid with its usual numbers; can't blame Olympics for that one. Fans will now have to wait and see if another season is in the cards for the comedy series. The CW also announced last week it would add Sunday night programming back into its schedule.

ABC ran a lot of 20/20, repeats, and a special series of The Bachelor: Winter Games last week. No scripted series ran new episodes, a bit of good news for anyone worried about the future of their shows. While The CW may be able to get away with running a few new scripted episodes without the concern, if one of the big four does it, that's not a good sign for the longevity of the series.

CBS really wanted viewers to watch Big Brother and The Big Bang Theory last week. The short Big Brother: Celebrity Edition topped the rating chart last week, while several repeat episodes of The Big Bang Theory fell in right behind it. With March coming, the CBS schedule will get scrambled for March Madness, especially the Friday and Saturday night programs.
