Could this mean the return of the classic series? Only time will tell. Shifting Gears wrapped its second season, up three hundred thousand viewers. The show should be an easy renewal for the network. Abbott Elementary was up one hundred thousand viewers. Will Trent was down one hundred thousand viewers, but is in no danger. The Rookie lost another half million viewers in its new timeslot, but should be renewed. American Idol lost eight hundred thousand viewers off its premiere.

The awards show moves to ABC next year. The Price Is Right At Night picked up another three hundred thousand viewers. Hollywood Squares lost two hundred thousand viewers. Harlan Coben's Final Twist was even.

NBC's coverage of the 2026 Winter Olympics started off with a bang, as ratings were up compared to the 2022 ceremony. In more good news, the network finally saw a little return on its NBA investment last week. The two extra Sunday night games pulled good numbers, picking up more than a million more viewers each over previous Tuesday night games. Speaking of which, the Tuesday night game was up one hundred thousand viewers. Brilliant Minds lost another hundred thousand viewers it couldn't afford. Chicago Fire and PD each picked up one hundred thousand viewers. Chicago Med was even. St Denis Medical was up one hundred thousand viewers.
