ABC made news for all the wrong reasons last week. In an unprecedented move, the network yanked the upcoming season of The Bachelorette after more allegations of abuse were levelled against Taylor Frankie Paul. The reality romance show is usually a two-hour block on Sunday nights. So far, there's been no word on how the network plans to fill that time now or if the show will be cancelled as a result. The annual evening with the Oscars easily topped the ratings chart, though this year's event was down almost two million viewers from last year. Scrubs lost one hundred thousand viewers last week, but should be renewed. RJ Decker was also down one hundred thousand viewers, and its chances of renewal may be fading. High Potential was up two hundred thousand viewers. 9-1-1 picked up four hundred thousand viewers. That boosted 9-1-1 Nashville, too, which was up two hundred thousand viewers.

CBS renewed CIA for a second season. That will keep an FBI block intact for another year. That likely spells bad news for Watson fans. It is the only drama series still without a renewal confirmation. Fans of DMV should also be worried. With most of the network's programming set for another year, the lack of news for these two shows is telling. Marshals lost two million viewers to the Oscars competition. That number will likely bounce back this week. America's Culinary Cup picked up two hundred thousand viewers and could squeak a renewal. NCAA Men's basketball takes over the Thursday through Saturday night schedule for the next couple of weeks.

FOX wrapped the World Baseball Classic to big numbers. Memory of a Killer returned after a week off, down three hundred thousand viewers. It had started well, but its numbers have fallen off in the last few weeks. It may squeak a renewal, but its footing is far less stable than it was last fall. The Masked Singer picked up two hundred thousand viewers and will easily be renewed. The Sunday animation block lost viewers last week, likely due to the Oscars.
