Writer, broadcaster, former newspaper editor and TV executive Janet joined the Loose Women team in 2011.
She's an experienced journalist (and former editor of the Independent on Sunday) with a BAFTA and a CBE to her name.
Janet was already a familiar face on television when she first joined the panel. You've probably spotted her on The F-Word, Question Time and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here - to name but a few.
And she made it all the way to the final of Celebrity MasterChef too.
Janet has presented numerous TV series on a variety of topics, from contemporary British art to walking, cooking and architecture. She actually studied architecture in her early twenties before deciding to pursue a career in media.
