Shelly and Zahid purchased a spacious home over a decade ago that needed many upgrades but had a great view overlooking their backyard and Zahid's favorite feature, the large pond. Over the years, very little has been done to the interior and even though Zahid has a great love for this home, Shelly has had enough. Despite the lack of a makeover, the space does not function for her and the family, and she would like to have a master bedroom and bath that she does not have to share with their young son.

Why would HGTV, choose such difficult people to work w/? Surely they have thousands of couples who'd give their right arm to be on the show & they choose these 2? The wife just constantly tramples all over anything the husband wants as though her opinion is only one that counts & asks Hilary to do the dumbest changes to their house! Strange for sure. Irritated w/ this couple just watching it!
