As far as Rhys is concerned, his dream of being a surgeon is over. Vanessa steps up to support him, but is hurt when he pushes her away. Rhyss wallowing is cut short when hardline Susan steps in and challenges him to fight his condition instead of letting it control him. Defeated Rhys considers dismissing her, but he ultimately decides to put himself through the difficult process of rehab.
