So Chuck with the golden pen and keyboard has a series tank after only 2 seasons. Not happy. I liked this one as I seem to like all his sitcoms. This one was different. (Yeah, yeah, they all are) No really. Interpreter comes to America with marine he helped keep alive. As per usual a funny look but with an unflinching eye on social issues and social roles we all play. Gung Ho Marine see marriage fall apart though he is a good guy because wife just can't take the stress of loving someone that could at anytime come home. In a box. No one is the bad guy. We get to see everyones point of view. including the new boy friend. The Dad played by ex blow hard Hank of Breaking Bad was spot on! proving he has range in acting.
So... Why? Was this? Cancelled? Just not seeing it what with all the reality drivel still on and some of the fare that is being kept on. Sure, Chuck can absorb it what with all his hits past, now and more to come but... Did I mention?

(USMC Airwing CH-53 Fightline Mech and Flightcrew mid 70's. Chuck captured the life and challenges well without being cliche or sugar coating it or too much mindless flag waving. For that this Marine was grateful.)
