It's a good day to be a fan of the Ryan Murphy universe. "Monster" has been renewed for two more installments and will now become an anthology series that follows other notorious figures who left their mark on society. "Monster" Season 1, co-created by Murphy and Brennan, is Netflix's second-most-popular English TV season and is on track to reach 1 billion viewing hours in the coming weeks.

@CostaDax I liked the presentation and depiction of season 1, so hoping sooner rather than later season 2 will be released.
No official announcement yet. If famous serial killers remain the blueprint for this series, then there are plenty of controversial picks to choose from, including John Wayne Gacy, Richard Ramirez, or Ted Bundy. Those suggestions might all be a bit too obvious though, especially as Ramirez has already appeared in multiple seasons of American Horror Story (both shows were created by Ryan Murphy). But the focus of Season 2 might not necessarily be on a serial killer. According to the press release, future seasons of Monster will follow "stories of other monstrous figures who have impacted society". So, we may see another kind of "monster" in Season 2.
Who are they going to tackle next?
