Karen Anzoategui is a gender queer actor/writer/solo performer from Huntington Park, California, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Anzoategui plays Recurring Guest Star, 'Daysi Cantu', in the Emmy nominated series, East Los High and has gone on to have credits in the CW's Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Showtime's Shameless, and other shows. Anzoategui is also known for her solo theater shows in Los Angeles: ¡Ser! and Catholic School Daze. They also produced a documentary called Catholic School Daze about queer and trans subjects.
