Born in Cornwall, England, Morwenna Banks attended Robinson College, Cambridge and was a member of the Cambridge Footlights, a student sketch comedy troupe. Following her graduation she guested on a 1985 episode of The Lenny Henry Show, the following year a couple guest appearances on Saturday Live and Dangerous Brothers Present: World of Danger. In the mid 1990's she began to showcase her voice-acting talents.
