Season 4 of Liv and Maddie was announced on December 21, 2015. Production started in January 2016. Season 4 started airing on September 23, 2016. This is the final season of the show and will end in March 2017. Dove Cameron confirmed filming the final episode via Twitter. The first episode was Sorta-Sisters-A-Rooney, and the final episode is End-A-Rooney.
