It was alternate universe in the future but when they traveled to the past it wasn`t different as they prevented that attack that would change the future and create alternate universe.
OK. So I was excited that Nurse Chapel was featured at the start. She makes me tingle when I see her. (maybe TMI?) But the WTF moment with Spock had me belly laughing hard. If only John Hughes was alive to direct this episode. Did I mention about the hard belly laughs? A classic Star Trek that navigates a ridiculous sci-fi postulation while resolving to have humanity save the day. And the finish was amazing!
