Advance Notice of Final Seasons

I don't believe using September to August is a good measuring stick as there are a lot of shows mostly Reality shows that premiere and end between June and September - "America's Got Talent", "Big Brother", etc. It should be year to year in my opinion?

It was a coin toss but since scripted shows could straddle the Dec-Jan border but I decided I'd use the old "standard" broadcast TV year starting in Sep ... either way I just need to make sure they get counted in just one season. I haven't decide a criteria yet but am leaning towards the year the bulk of the final episodes air with ties going to the year the show actually ends ... but I could easily accept using the year the final show airs even if it was the only episode to air (ie 12 episodes Aug or earlier and 1 in Sep). Thoughts always welcomed ...

Netflix's Longmire ordered it's final sixth season to air in 2017.

You can add "Final Season" as the title on the final Season where you add episode #, Year & Month.

There is no option for that Ron and it is most definitely not allowed to add it there.

Why it's Blank and never used unless the Season has a specific name?

That field is not intended for such information. TVmaze chose to not insert final season for a reason, so please respect that and do not add it in the wrong field just because you want it to be displayed.
