Cash Cab - Photo is not appropiate!

Therefore let me please restate what i mentioned to you about the size of show photos both times. When i first joined the site back in June I had a few dozen Show photos removed because they did not fit Poster size properly yet no one bothered to tell me that there was a problem with my photos until about a month later i found them blank and then asked what happened to them. Finally I was told that because they did not fit poster size they were removed. I didn't consider this a big deal that they were removed just that no one bothered to have the decency to let me know so i would not continue to waste my time putting in wrong sized photos.
Then we had a discussion about if no Poster size photo can be found to fit it stays blank which to this day I do not agree with but that's how it is even if a Poster photo after years later never materializes than can be used it stays blank.
My point here is two fold that one these 3 separate members need to be informed that their photos do not meet the site standards and the photos need to be removed.
Secondly someone needs to explain this in a policy for the entire site to read before this continues to be a big problem please?

We sure have to contact them for not adding the right photos or adding banners as posters. I usually take a look through those kind of shows where wrong photos are uploaded, however I am currently with my job (hotels) for few weeks and it isn't really so easy to check them on my phone with shitty Internet :). If this continues to be a problem with the same users, just contact us and we will try to pm them :)

Funny thing is it has been 3 times in 2 days and all 3 were different users?

Have you ever had any important people or celebrities ever stay at your hotel?

I meant to say that I'm currently staying in hotels for my job haha.

Anyway if it happens only once it could be slipped through, however if they continue making these mistakes, we definitely should peake them aware of their mistakes

ha, ha, my bad and okey dokey!

It was me that added that image & although it wasn't poster size, it was all I could find.

I've now updated it with an image I made combining the show logo with a photo of the cab driver from the show so that it now fits the frame better..

That's much better right now, but be aware Tony that we'd rather leave it blank if there is no Poster available for a show or you have to create one yourself of course like you did now ;)

Yeah, sorry. I wasn't aware of the image policy. I just assumed something was better than nothing. I'll keep that in mind for future images I add.

Now, back to updatng the latest shows I submitted.... :D

Here is another show image that not only does not fit it is not for this show. I added this show "The Curse of Oak Island: Digging Deeper" but there was not a photo image for it available yet in any size so I had to leave it blank for now. A member decided to add a show image anyways that does not fit and besides it is not for this show it is for the main show "The Curse of Oak Island". I have not removed it because I wanted a STAFF member to see it and remove it please?

Just another example of someone who does not understand the Photo image policy. Please put the Photo image policy in writing so maybe this kind of stuff will stop? How many times must I ask that this be done please as this is the 4th time in less than a week now invalid photos have been entered and that's just the one's that I have accidentally found. How many other photos are on the site that are invalid because they have not been found yet?

Noted and deleted. It is definitely a valid point to write it I suppose.

Only Poster images can be used as main image; the image that's used as the identifying image on the show's main page. Main Images will be cut and resized to fit the dimensions of a Poster image, so make sure any images you add as Poster are actually suitable for that format

If you notice a user consistently uploading bad image formats, let us know and we can send them a notice :)

I have not been locating at the names of the person that has been adding the show photos and I really don't want to have to make a list of them to see if any one person appears more than once or not? My memory doesn't help much so I can only report what I find whenever I find one I guess, sorry?

I made a new poster in paint, looks much nicer now :)

"Amateurs" is not Poster size and does not quite fit!

Instead of just fixing/replacing them I suggest the member who added it be sent a PM first to let them know about the rules so they do not continue it?

I found it at the 1st place I always look and the best place to find Poster photos at tvdb.com. They usually have 1/2 of the poster show photos we need here so always look there first to save you some time. Also once in a great while when they don't have a Poster Photo on the main page of the show in question they sometimes have one on the Season pages.
