Rules of Engagement
This was a fun episode for the sheer joy of watching Apophis die again! Seriously though, there are some great moments in this one - not least of which is hearing Teal'c call O'Neill his underling.

Forever in a Day
A bit lack luster on action, but WOW! I am amazed by Michael Shanks performance. I had to go back & look at scenes from the original movie with James Spader... Shanks nails Spader, without being an impersonation of Spader, but rather an evolution. To each actors credit, they are EACH Daniel Jackson & it's beautiful to watch!

Pilot
I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this show, and was more than just a little worried about getting another Family Guy - I was pleasantly surprised.
Nice jumping off point, without putting too much on the audience to absorb.
Alec Peterson is amazing as The Canon & is utterly villainous! And seeing another Unas was a treat, too.
Although the show is a regular indictment of organized religion in many ways, I think it's admirable that they sometimes put Christianity on trial too. This was one of those episodes. Not that the show shies away from examining Governments or the Military, but those are other episodes...
