This character is always very unsettling for me. She's hard to watch sometimes, but this episode shows the humanity inside her neuroses. The Luna call back is touching as is Jane's loyalty and friendship. 

Not too keen on this inner child bit.

Mystery solved when Fiona's husband places his psychedelic sneaker on the kitchen table. The dots can't get connected fast enough.
