It wasn’t “fun Trek”, it wasn’t clever comedy, and it wasn’t even good children’s television. It felt like watching a cheap parody of Star Trek that somehow got stretched into a full episode. And that is exactly the problem when you only get 10 episodes per season. In the TNG, Voyager or Enterprise days you could survive one ridiculous experiment because there were another 20+ episodes around it. Today, wasting 10% of an entire season on something like this is much harder to forgive.

I honestly don’t even know who this episode was made for. Too stupid for adult Star Trek fans, not particularly entertaining for children, and completely disconnected from what makes Star Trek special. You can make Trek funny, strange or even completely absurd and still keep its soul. This episode had none of it.

Yep. As an adult ST fan, even Lower Decks is WAAAAY better than this crap. This is just unwatchable, period. It has no sense at all.

They're jumping the shark with this season so far. Not in a good way either. I think I'll rewatch a couple of seasons of TNG instead of this... this...

Yep. Definitely getting stupider by the season. Pity. I used to love this show. At this rate, I'm not sure I'll be able to finish this season :(
