About dpratt

I first became interested in TVmaze in early 2016 when I was looking forward to some of my favorite shows and I noticed that the premieres were either not listed or were listed with incorrect dates. Good Witch was chiefly among the shows that interested me because all the listings I found for this show were in some way inadequate and I wanted to improve the listings for the benefit of others and to show my appreciation for this television series. Since then I have started adding information to the index for a variety of things just for the pleasure of contributing.

I aim to add accurate information for the benefit of a well organized index.

No Man Can Hide Forever Episode

No Man Can Hide Forever

The first two episodes looked promising but the third and fourth began to expose just how bad this show really is. Like when Robin runs into a butch girl named Ralph and she and her brothers decide to follow him even though he's a fugitive from justice being hunted by the sheriff. And further when the only black person in a hundred miles shows up to capture Robin only to join him in mugging innocent passerbys upon seeing a half-naked woman. The writers aren't even trying. Plus what's with all the Slavic actors? It's England.

What was the point of digitally remastering these episodes if not to also preserve the original 1960s special effects? Why ruin that by replacing them with totally new and unnecessary CGI scenes? Aren't the original special effects one of the most important things to preserve and part of the reason Star Trek and other old sci-fi are so loved in the first place?

That was cringe. I'm gonna skip the rest of this series. Don't believe the hype or waste your time.
