Not when it's a year and a half or more between seasons!  How long can post production possibly take?  It's an APPLE show!  Who has more computers and nerds than APPLE?!  This new era of streaming television is killing me.  5 seasons?  That's like 8-10 years of real time, most of it spent waiting.  At some point, I'm going to have to start worrying about dying before I find out how a show ends!

Coming up on 5 long, Orville-less years now.  Sigh...

Yes, instead of a season 4 we will be getting a movie in 2026.  All of the scripts for season 4 were finished, but during the strikes, Disney/Lucasfilm decided to change direction.  Basically, they don't want to see viewer numbers dwindle with a last season and have it all end when they could instead crank out movies and generate revenue as a film franchise.  Like it or not, it will probably work, too.
