A movie geek since childhood, I have my little DVD and BluRay collection that I have managed to update over the years. Unfortunately, there have become fewer and fewer places to buy movies over time. There are a plethora of online stores that still sell movies, but I enjoy browsing through the films and holding them, so ordering movies doesn't have the same charm.

Fortunately, streaming services have increased over the years and the selection just keeps getting bigger and bigger. This is a big plus since I barely get outside the door due to mental health issues. I suffer from chronic sleep problems, so it's nice to have an endless stream of movies and series.

It gets so intense when you binge-watch seasonally in one day, and it's easy to mix up everything you see. I don't know how often I've found something I want to watch only to realize that I've already seen it. A few years ago, I started to list everything I watch to get some sort of overview. I also made a note of whether the series has ended, and for ongoing series, I've noted the latest episode watched.

I am really happy to have found my way to TVmaze and discovered all the great features. It makes it easier to keep track of what I have watched, and when the next episode airs unless the series has ended, as well as being able to rate the series. I will try to look around the dashboard to see how everything works.
