Well, we now know what happened to Joan.  She left (who knows when) and never came back.  Just another case of cost cutting, like when don't see one or more ghosts in any episode, which makes no sence.

Well, who didn't see that last scene coming?  That whole subplot didn't make sence, why would a wife of 40 years believe any thing Elsbeth said (a total stranger to her) so easily?  And, why didn't Elsbeth question that?  Then, Elsbeth told her about the item that was stolen from the police that would prove he was a killer during their second meeting.  I'm sure this will be continued thur the whole season with the wife plotting her revenge, maybe ending in a cliffhanger.  In the words of Archie Bunker. "Oooo Geez".

Where is Sasappis?  I think the bigger question is, where's Joan?  Remember her?  Sasappis' love interest, what happened to her?  I know, like pete, she can go where ever she wants, but, no one mentions her at all.
