Beyond terrible. And no proper boss, especially not a Starfleet captain would ever behave like this; several scenes were just painful to watch, so awkward.
Only for a few minutes, I thought it could be a fun tribble origin story (however off from established canon)

I'd missed the Short Treks from Netflix, not anymore.

Mary is really annoying in this episode, it is painful :( She usually talks a lot, yes, but here she behaves like a complete idiot. It's great that the show did not keep this personality of hers, the show would be unwatchable.

It's high time to delete Philip K. Dick's name from the show title... :/
