There's absolutely nothing new here. I kept nodding off during episodes. Ethan Hawk's portrayal of the quirkiness of the main character is a bit exaggerated (maybe not his decision), but makes it not be natural. A character that isn't that smart and I kept thinking, "How is this guy still alive?" I mean, not necessary during the show, but how has this guy lived to his 50s making some questionable investigative decisions.

The first four episodes were decent with a brilliant setting, and I could see myself watching a second season. But then it entered the final stage of the main story, and it was absolutely horrible. When I was watching this episode I was thinking "OK, they are going to finish this in this episode, so what is going to happen in the final episode?" But No, they dragged this stupid story for one more episode, meaning, they didn't just screw one episode, but two.
