CBS announced the cancellation of NCIS: Hawai'i last week. Not really a surprise, considering the radio silence after parent show, NCIS, was renewed a few weeks ago. The production has stated the show won't end on a cliffhanger, a small relief for fans. The Eye Network also renewed The Equaliser last week for a fifth season. The only shows still awaiting their fate are Survivor and The Amazing Race. Both shows should be renewed. Tracker lost half a million viewers without the golf assist. The Equaliser was down almost a million viewers from its last new episode a few weeks ago. Elsbeth was even, though low.

ABC wrapped Not Dead Yet last week. The finale was even with the previous week. Assuming ABC plans to keep its Wednesday comedy block, the show should be renewed. The Conners lost two hundred thousand viewers compared to last week, but it remained the top-rated comedy for the network. It should be renewed. If the network was hoping for a ratings bonanza with day one of the NFL Draft, they had a partial win. The ratings number were some of the highest the network had seen in some time, however it only pulled one hundred thousand more viewers than America's Funniest Home Videos.
