After leaving her successful legal career in Chicago to tackle a new investigative role in New York City, Elsbeth finds herself jockeying with the toast of the NYPD, Captain C.W. There's not enough mystery to these stories. The killer is already revealed to the viewer and we just follow Elsbeth as she uncovers who the killer is. Elsbeth's quirkiness is cute but wears thin after the 3rd episode, for me. I'll give it one more episode and see if it improves.
