Enjoy reading Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror & Mystery with some adventure. Especially Clive Cussler novels. Favorite series include Douglas Prestons Special Agent Pendergast series and Robert Jordan's Wheel Of Time. I enjoy a variety of Classic movies, & Classic Horror movies especially those featuring such legends of Horror as Boris Karloff, Christopher Lee, Bela Lugosi (and yes, I actually know it is pronounced Bay-La), Lon Chaney Jr., and I consider John Carradine in with the Legends. Genres I enjoy include Science Fiction, Fantasy, Classic Mystery such as Charlie Chan, Mr. Moto, Boston Blackie, The Saint with George Sanders and many more. I have attended Dragon Con I and selling Parrot toys at bird fairs. I also was Sysop of 'The Panoptic Net BBS' for 15 years in the Michiana area which encompassed Northern Indiana and part of Lower Michigan. The BBS was Doctor Who oriented and also included general Sci-Fi interests.

Of note in this episode when the tardis lands in New York City on top of the Empire State Building, the cars in the street shot from the top of the building are going the wrong way for the US.

Of note; for the filming of this episode, William Hartnell was not in good health. The studio filmed his scenes for the episode in Hartnells garage so he would be able to appear in this anniversary special.
Just got around to watching this version of the stand, I hate that the very start of the 1st episode takes place later in the story and then they flash back to the beginning where Captain Tripp's hit the world. I will watch the whole thing to see how they did and treated the story but at this point, the original mini-series is and will be the definitive version to me.
