Ava

Ava is the one person on Earth capable of putting up with Johnny's bullshit and somehow talking him out of his destructive, self-sabotaging behavior. She does this mostly by screaming. Which is often preceded by a solid, dead-arm sucker punch to his right shoulder. And a heavy dose of sarcasm. Back in the old days, they each had their sexual escapades while sharing an "open" relationship. The truth is, Ava's escapades outnumbered Johnny's by quite a lot. He doesn't know this, because his ego couldn't handle it. She's got the brains and the balls in this relationship. Ava knows how to massage Johnny's ego and keep him working - hoping against hope they can find a chunk of money big enough to support them as they grow old together.
