Truss Jackson is former Army Special Forces and currently the no-nonsense Commander of the Exo-Terrorism Unit (ETU), a secret government organization dedicated to tracking aliens known as 'Hunters'. He leads his team with the efficient, quiet and compassionate resolve of a shepherd, but is capable of making hard decisions when necessary. Truss is a devout Mormon.
