George is the owner of the main saloon in the town of Caldwell, and much of the property. The half-breed son of a Comanche mother and a white father, George faced prejudice and is a self-made man. When Ranger Jim Perkins tries to shut down his saloon, George had his thug Hector kill a stable boy and frame Jim for the crime. Three years later, Hoby brings word that Jim is coming back to Caldwell, and George plans to eliminate both Hoby and Jim. Hoby neglects to mention that Jim died in prison and it's his coffin that is coming to town, until after he captures Hector and George.
