Doctors perform a c-section on Marie, and she tells the nurse that she couldn't push anymore. The anesthesiologist assures her that she has nothing to apologize for, and holds her hand as the doctors remove the baby. They gather for a moment nearby and Marie asks if everything is okay, and breaks into tear. The anesthesiologist tells her to relax, and the baby starts crying. Started very well for the mother and a good idea but as the episode shows itt snowballs and well I wouldn't do it.
Enjoyed it but felt they didn't stick the landing.
This episode reminded me of a twisted version of the Pink Floyd song 'Mother' off the Wall mixed with Catcher in the Rye. Great life lesson and kudos to Jodie Foster for directing it.
