Despite the ministrations of sex therapist mom Jean and encouragement from pal Eric, Otis worries that he can't get it on. He's not the only one.
I'm having a hard time believing some of these people are of school age, Adam especially, which is something I always deal with for American productions but British shows always cast people who look believably school age.
The writing too is really distracting, like it was written by Americans with lots of lines and situations that just don't fit the British school setting.
On further reading it seems the American feel was deliberate, but as a British viewer its just way too distracting imo.
I'm going to try and look past the distractions because everything else is great.
This is just weird and awkward in every way, yet I am somehow loving it :p
