Clary Fray is thrown into the world of demon hunting after her mother is kidnapped, and must rely on the mysterious Jace and his fellow Shadowhunters Isabelle and Alec to navigate this new dark world. With her best friend Simon in tow, Clary must now live among faries, warlocks, vampires and werewolves to find answers that could help her find her mother.

bad acting, too much cramed into a single episode, too many flashy things.
most of the plot laid out as well... not a fan. will watch the second just in case, but not giving it three chances
Nothing worse when the first episode of all episodes start with bad acting. Doesn't hold out much hope that it will get much better.
Will still bide my time and wait for the 3rd before giving it the thumb.
This being the first episode, there's an obvious lack of chemistry between the characters (actors). Hopefully this will improve in future episodes.
