Very odd note on this episode: Elaine's boyfriend has the same name as murderer Joel Rifkin. She's so embarassed that she tries to get him to change his name. One of her suggestions is "O.J." She goes so far as to say "please please please change your name to O.J. please!" This episode aired only six months before the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, which made the name O.J. practically synonymous with "murderer".
