Born in Burbank, California Ami Dolenz was dubbed the 'Monkey baby' due to her famous father, Mickey Dolenz. She dropped out of high school at age 17, and first appeared in the role of Linda on the series Growing Pains. She later worked with a tutor to complete her education.
