Dom Kegel is an American stunt performer, actor, production designer, director, photographer, former athlete, educator, and self-described adventurer. Born in Missouri, Kegel grew up with a nomadic family. He attended Greenville University and played football and track & field. After college he played pro football for Seinäjoki FC in Finland until he hung up the cleats and started working in the film industry. His career began as a stuntman, roaming the wasteland of live-action sets from New York City to Los Angeles. He later branched out into other aspects of the film and television industry and into photography. On TV, he is mostly known for his work on Chicago P.D. (2014-2021), Heels (2021), and Tom Swift (2022). In addition to acting and filmmaking, he is also a high school teacher.
