Fern Deacon is an English actress. Her most recent roles include "Lucy Hedge" in Sky 1's Christmas special Fungus The Bogeyman and "Margaret Hodgson" in Sky Living's 3 part horror The Enfield Haunting acting alongside Timothy Spall and Matthew Mcfayden, Gillian Glennon in BBC Ones Call the Midwife and "Young Mina" in Sam Mendes and John Logan's Penny Dreadful for Sky Atlantic and Showtime.
Her first professional debut was in Kin at the Royal Court Theatre in 2011. She then went on to perform in a modern adaptation of Electra at the Gate Theatre playing young Electra. In 2012 she played Susan in BBC's three part horror The Secret of Crickley Hall. She has also appeared in the Murder Mystery series Father Brown as "Kathleen Knight.", Fern has also worked on feature film "Molly Moon: Incredible Hypnotist as "bully Hazel" which is based on a series of books by Georgia Byng.
Fern is currently working on a new five part drama for Channel 4.
Fern Deacon is also an avid filmmaker who likes writing and producing her own short films.
