Evelyn McGee-Colbert is an American actress who is married to comedian, actor, host, and producer, Stephen Colbert. The couple married on October 9, 1993, and has three children: John, Peter, and Madeline. As an actress, Evelyn has appeared in the TV show Strangers with Candy as well as in the movie The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Her acting credits prove that she is more than just a celebrity wife and has earned recognition on her own as well. Born to a renowned Charleston civil litigator, Evelyn is a well-educated and intelligent lady.
