Born in Toronto, Ontario Harland Williams dropped out of college, became a forest ranger and eventually headed to Hollywood to pursue an acting career. His first film role was in the 1994 blockbuster Dumb & Dumber. In 1997 he finally had his big break when he was cast as the title character in Rocket Man. As well as being a comedian and actor, he has written and illustrated a series of children's books about a curious brontosaurus named Lickety Split and is the creator of the children's animated series Puppy Dog Pals.
